OUR STORY
We Grow by Helping People in Need
InspireAbilities began with a simple need: connection. When a group of mothers, each raising a child with special needs, came together in 2016, they created a group to exchange information, offer support, and share their journeys.
What started as small gatherings soon blossomed into a tight-knit, passionate community with a shared purpose. In 2024, this vision became a reality with the founding of InspireAbilities—a nonprofit dedicated to supporting both the immediate and long-term needs of children and individuals with special needs.

President
Subhashini Subramaniyan
My journey began when my son was diagnosed with autism. Like many parents, I was searching for answers and a support system that truly understood our experiences. That search led me to connect with other mothers, and together, we created a community that has now grown into InspireAbilities.
My vision is rooted in a simple belief: every individual has the potential to thrive when given the right support and opportunities. I’m passionate about helping people discover their strengths and build skills that lead to purposeful, fulfilling lives.
Alongside my work with InspireAbilities, I also run an information technology company. This allows me to bring both heart and hands-on experience to the mission we’re building every day.
